Remote guidance begins at $500 per month, or 10% of total project cost for full-service execution

1. How are your fees structured?
Design fees are calculated per square foot, with the rate depending on the level of detail.
Design Implementation fees are flexible: a fixed monthly fee for remote support and a percentage of the total project budget for full turnkey project management.
2. Do you work with clients remotely?
Yes. Most of the design process is done remotely, which allows me to work with clients worldwide. I also travel on-site at key stages. The quality and depth of the design remain the same, wherever you are.
3. What’s included in a full-service design package?
Full-service design covers everything from layouts and 3D renderings to detailed construction drawings, specifications, and sourcing of furniture, finishes, and lighting.
Supervision and project management are offered separately after the design is approved — so you have the freedom to decide whether to handle implementation yourself or bring me in for ongoing support.
4. Can I keep some of my existing furniture or art?
Absolutely. I often integrate meaningful pieces into a new design — it makes the space more authentic and personal. The goal is not to start from scratch, but to create harmony between what you already own and the new vision.
5. When should I hire a designer?
The earlier, the better — ideally before construction begins or any major purchases are made. This ensures the layouts, finishes, and furnishings work seamlessly together, saving both time and costly mistakes.
6. Will I receive build-ready drawings and specifications?
Yes. With a full-service design package you receive a complete set of construction drawings with wall elevations and custom details, along with full specifications for finishes, furniture, and lighting. It’s everything your contractor needs to execute the design accurately.
7. What happens if my scope changes mid-project or if we decide to expand later?
Design is a flexible process. If your scope changes — for example, you decide to shift the concept after 3D work has begun or add new spaces — we simply adjust accordingly. All additional costs are reviewed and approved with you in advance, so you always choose whether to proceed.
